For the first time ever I was in Wrigleyville for Opening Day – even if I was not at the game. I ventured to Wrigleyville to celebrate Tommy’s upcoming wedding to Anna. The day started out early as we were in Wrigleyville well before Noon. After a quick breakfast we toured the exterior of the cathedral before we headed for some popular watering holes that included Sluggers Bar – where Tommy and Anna first met – before settling in at the Country Club Bar to watch the game. People were coming in all day to celebrate with Tommy and Anna and to enjoy a Cub victory. Continue reading →
